Minestrone Soup

Johnny’s Minestrone Soup

 

Recipe as follows

16 oz top sirloin cut into 1 inch cubes

1 cup chopped onion

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 (8oz) Johnny’s Au Jus Concentrate (liquid)

1 teaspoon herb seasoning (Italian herb or your favorite)

1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes

1 (15 oz) can green beans

2 (14.5 oz) cans of vegetable stock

2 cups water

1 (4 oz) can sliced black olives, undrained

1 ½  cups thinly sliced carrots

1 cup macaroni, uncooked

2 medium zuchinni, sliced

2 teaspoons Jamaica Me Crazy Seasoned Sea Salt (more to taste)

¼ teaspoon Jamaica Me Crazy Seasoned Pepper

1 Tablespoon Great Caesar Garlic Spread & Seasoning

 

 

Ingredients ready to be processed into a delicious soup.

 
Slice beef sirloin into 1 inch cubes.

 

 
Chop onions and add to beef.

 

 
Add Johnny’s Garlic spread, Jamaica Me Crazy salt and pepper to beef.

 

 
Add olive oil to mixture and place into a skillet.

 
Place mixture on stove top and brown mixture for about 5 minutes on medium heat.

 

 
Slice both carrots and zucchini.

 

 
Place all ingredients except macaroni into a dutch oven or a crock pot and add Johnny’s French Dip Au Jus Sauce. Add water and vegetable stock at this time and cook for slow cook for 6 hours in the Crockpot.

 

 

When soup is done, add macaroni and cook for 15 more minutes or until macaroni is soft.
