Garlic Prawn Appetizer

Use this prawn appetizer for any event, your guests will love it, and it is very easy to prepare using “Johnny’s Garlic spread and Seafood seasoning salt.”

24 ea peeled and deveined shrimp of any size (larger the better)

          1 lemon

          1 green onion julienne sliced

          Fresh Parsley

          Shredded lettuce

          Fresh diced tomato

          Canola oil (for sauteing)

1 tsp of “Johnny’s” Garlic Spread

Johnny’s Seafood Seasoning salt to taste

          1 cup of butter

Mix butter and Garlic spread together and put aside, to be added to the sauteed prawns in a few minutes.

In a saute pan, on med-high heat add about a tablespoon of canola oil to grease the pan. When hot add the prawns and season to taste, cook for just a few minutes and then add the garlic spread butter mixture.

Put in just enough mixture to coat the prawns, saving the remainder for a later use. (Can be melted for use as a dipping sauce.)

Now throw in the green onions and diced tomatoes simmer for 30 seconds and place on a bed of shredded lettuce, drizzling the remaining sauce onto prawns. Garnish with lemons and parsley.
